NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT PERIOD ON THE ANALYSIS OF BROWNFIELD CLEANUP ALTERNATIVES (ABCA) FOR THE FORMER MACHINERY ROW PROPERTY (700, 900, AND 1010 WATER STREET) AND THE 615 MARQUETTE STREET PROPERTY
A 14-day public comment period for two Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) reports associated with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Racine’s (RDA) USEPA Cleanup Grant Application will be held from Friday, January 11, 2019 to Friday, January 25, 2019. The ABCAs have been prepared for the Former Machinery Row property at 700, 900, and 1010 Water Street and the 615 Marquette Street property. These ABCAs describe cleanup alternatives and the proposed scope of work for addressing environmental impacts at these sites. A copy of the draft proposal for USEPA Cleanup Grant funding is also available for public review and comment.
The City of Racine, Department of City Development and RDA will also be conducting a public informational meeting regarding the Former Machinery Row site and the 615 Marquette Street site. At the public informational meeting, you can be informed of the details of the cleanup options and provide your views regarding the proposed scope of work. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at Racine City Hall, 730 Washington Avenue, Room 303.
Copies of the Public Hearing Notice, ABCA reports, draft proposal for funding, and supporting documentation are available through the links below, and are also available for public review and comment at City Hall in the Department of City Development, 730 Washington Avenue, Room 102, Racine, WI, 53403. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:55 PM, Monday through Friday.
